When travelling with kids, I always prefer to go free-and-easy where possible.  My kids can wake up at a decent time in the morning, and we can pick and choose which places we want to visit and how long to spend at each.

Planning a free-and-easy holiday adventure with the family can be a lot of work.  You have to research which place you want to go, how to move around, where to stay and important things to look out for.  If you want to get good deals, you have to do even more work to compare prices.

Apart from sharing with you my travel adventures and itineraries, in this section, I share with you how I planned for the trips, with links to online resources, tips and even mistakes I made that you can avoid.
