The SEA Aquarium Marine Life Park in Singapore is the largest oceanarium in the world. Located on Sentosa island, you can easily get there by taking the MRT train to Harbourfront station and then changing to the Sentosa Express monorail and dropping off at Waterfront station. Before heading off to the aquarium, you might want to look for discounted tickets online like on Govoyagin.com.  or from below:

It was quite easy to navigate around the SEA Aquarium as there is only one path from the entrance to the exit,  It took us about 2 hours to complete the route.

The oceanarium is divided into 10 zones with each zone covering different oceans/seas.

I thought the Jellyfish at the SEA Aquarium section was quite interesting  The types of Jellyfishes available were those that I’ve never seen before.

There was a touch pool where visitors can touch and feel the surface of some marine animals including the starfish.

Did you notice something odd about the white fish above (in the centre)?  Unlike most other fishes, this white fish was swimming flat on the sand!

Hmmm….a clown fish, a bigger clown fish and a blue fish.  Doesn’t the photo above remind you of  a movie?  A movie called Finding Nemo? Actually, the tank had quite a number of clown fishes, and it was a sheer coincidence that I managed to snap this photo.

You are at the halfway mark once you reach the giant aquarium. The giant aquarium is the main attraction, featuring the giant manta ray.  It was incredible to see many types of fish swim peacefully together. With the soothing background music, it was very relaxing and almost therapeutic.

I personally liked the school of fish that swam harmoniously together in the shape of a ball in the giant aquarium.  I didn’t even have to go scuba diving to see that.

Other things we saw were the  Moray eels (on the left), the sea urchin, the lobster and more.  When my boy saw the giant lobster (on the right), he said to me “I feel like having seafood tonight”.
